Round Robin Doubles Tournament Tournament cancelled due to lack of entries. Commiserations to those who did enter. Maybe next year we'll try again! Takapuna Tennis Club invite all over 40s to the first Jerry Clayton BMW over 40s Doubles Tournament. This is a one day round robin event at the Takapuna Club. You will enjoy plenty of tennis and also go in the draw to drive a BMW for a weekend. Format of Play The format will be seeded round robin doubles events played in groups. There will be both Mens and Womens events Play will commence at 8:30am ansd sets will be on a time limited basis. Playoffs between Group winners will determine the overall winners. Players not involved in playoffs will be eligible to enter the Spencer on Byron Singles Shootout. This is an ultra quickfire knockout singles event in which each match is best of 3 points. Entries Entries are to be made on the official entry form. Copies can be requested by emailing takapunatennis@orcon.net.nz The entry fee is $20 per player. Entrants must be aged 40 years or over as at October 30th, 2005. Please see the entry form for all notes and conditions of entry. Prizes Winners and Runners-up will receive cash prizes. Singles Shootout winner will receive a night at the Spencer on Byron Hotel. All entrants go in a LUCKY DRAW for a BMW to drive for a weekend plus a night's accommodation at a mystery lodge. Nourishment Food and drinks available all day. Free sausage sizzle for all entrants at the conclusion of the tennis.
